Keagan was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, where his adventurous spirit was first ignited through activities like riding ATVs on game farms, camping, hunting, and skeet shooting. After relocating to the USA in grade school with his family, Keagan continued to pursue his passion for the outdoors, engaging in water skiing, wakeboarding, boating, and scuba diving, ultimately earning his Divemaster license.
In June 2017, Keagan achieved his Royal Yacht Association (RYA) Yacht Master 200-ton License with Commercial Endorsement during his summer holidays while studying marketing at the University of Colorado. His love for sailing flourished through family boating and sailing adventures, particularly in the Virgin Islands and throughout the Caribbean. With thousands of logged miles, Keagan ran charters on luxury catamarans with girlfriend and teammate Olivia, a professionally trained chef, based in the USVI and BVI for six years. He was engaged as a full-time professional captain on Fountaine Pajot, Leopard and Lagoon catamarans ranging from 40’ – 62’ during this time. His experience included repairs, maintenance and care of all operational and technical aspects of these vessels which has given him the knowledge and experience to speak with authority on these vessels. His knowledge will prove invaluable to buyers and sellers looking for expertise in the catamaran segment.
Keagan is known for his outgoing personality and enthusiasm, thriving on meeting new people and building lasting relationships. He is recognized by his peers for his positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for the yachting lifestyle.
Keagan recently moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, to immerse himself in the heart of the yachting world. In his free time, he enjoys surfing and scuba diving in Central America and the Caribbean, as well as exploring his new surroundings in South Florida.
