The Best 2026 Spring Break Crewed Catamarans

October 8, 2025

In our busy lives, it’s easy to get swept up in routines and forget the importance of quality time with the people who matter most. That’s why planning a vacation that truly brings everyone together is so valuable. Chartering a crewed catamaran offers something for every member of the family — and then some. Adventure lovers can dive into a variety of water toys, while sun seekers will find plenty of space to lounge and soak up the rays. Foodies and wine enthusiasts will be spoiled by a private chef crafting delicious meals paired with the perfect beverages. And for those simply craving a break from the everyday, nothing compares to waking up in a new, serene anchorage each morning — fully unplugged and completely present.

Check out Laura’s curated sample of catamarans available in various locations, such as the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, and Windward islands.

LIVIN

LIVIN is a brand new 2025 Leopard 50, and new to the 2025-2026 charter season. It can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 ensuite cabins. This catamaran features an owner’s suite, with a massive bathroom, a desk to tackle those pesky emails, and lots of hanging storage to keep you organized while sailing.

A couple of key features that I really love about this charter yacht are

  • The trampoline/bow seats. The trampoline are always a popular place for guests to enjoy while underway. The sea spray misting you, the sun on your face, and a drink in your hand – it’s perfect. To get even closer to the action, there are two bow seats just forward of the trampoline, where guests can be on the lookout for dolphins.

  • The sunken forward cockpit. For those who want to stay a bit more out of the elements, the forward cockpit is a comfortable spot to enjoy a good book, sip on your morning coffee, but still be close to the action.

  • This flybridge feels like it belongs on a 60+ foot yacht. With a spacious L-shaped settee, a coffee table complete with integrated cupholders, and two oversized sun pads, there’s room for the whole family to relax in comfort. It’s the perfect spot for taking in stunning 360° views — and thanks to its layout, staying connected with the rest of the boat is easy.

LIVIN is available to charter in the British Virgin Islands and offers different locations for pickup/drop off. So for those looking to combine a resort stay with a yacht charter, LIVIN is a fabulous option. To see LIVIN’s full e-brochure, click here.

SV VALHALLA

SV VALHALLA is a 2025 Xquisite sailing catamaran, and can accommodate up to 4 guests, in 2 ensuite cabins. VALHALLA is a great option for a couple doing a honeymoon/anniversary charter, or for a small family.

A few of my favorite features on VALHALLA are:

  • The primary’s cabin. Spanning the entire port-side hull, the primary cabin makes full use of its generous layout. A beautifully crafted wood finish surrounds a queen-size bed, with a separate lounge area, desk, and ample storage throughout. Designed with comfort in mind, it offers more than enough space for a couple to enjoy an extended stay.

  • It’s a performance catamaran; perfect for a true sailing family. Many modern catamarans are getting bigger, by going vertical, which comes at a cost with sailing performance. A higher boom means less efficient sail area and a higher center of effort, which can reduce power and stability under sail. VALHALLA is the balance of luxury, comfort, and speed.

  • The cockpit. Protected from the elements, with lots of comfortable lounging spaces and a great dining table. Guests can practically do it all here: enjoy alfresco dining, curl up and take a nap, enjoy game night with the kids, and fish from the stern

SV VALHALLA is currently offering charters in the Bahamas cruising grounds. To view VALHALLA’s full e-brochure, click here.

Island Hoppin’

Island Hoppin is a 2024 Lagoon 55 that can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite queen-sized cabins. This catamaran has it all with a well covered flybridge, a forward cockpit, a luxurious primary’s suite, a 60HP dinghy, and diving gear.

A few of my favorite features on Island Hoppin’ are:

  • The hydraulic swim platform. We’ve talked about how this particular amenity can really add to your overall experience of chartering a boat, and that’s because of how multipurpose they are. You can stay dry and use it as a mini beach club or to access the water with more ease. It’s a great feature for divers to use while entering in and out of the water, boarding the dinghy, or even to help individuals with mobility issues.

  • The forward cockpit. Another exterior place for guests to enjoy while sailing or at anchor. There’s multiple sunpads and a small cocktail table.

  • The flybridge. This space keeps you protected from the elements, all while enjoying 360 degree views. There’s a fold out coffee table, giving you another option for meal service or just a great spot to enjoy appetizers and sundowners. There’s a wet bar up there, an L-shaped settee, and massive sunpads just behind the settee.

Island Hoppin’ is currently offering charters in the Virgin Islands cruising area. To view Island Hoppin’s entire e-brochure, click here.

BLESSED

BLESSED is a 2024 Sunreef 80 powercat and can accommodate up to 10 guests, in 5 ensuite cabins. A power catamaran is a ton of fun to charter when island hopping in an area like the British Virgin Islands. You can quickly get from one anchorage to the next and have more time exploring ashore or enjoying the water toys.

A few of my favorite features on BLESSED are:

  • The hydraulic swim platform. This platform is large enough to set up as a beach club, creating another luxury lounging area. Guests can relax in bean bags, dip their toes in the water, watch the kids play on an e-foil board while enjoying a refreshing beverage.

  • Hot Tub Flybridge. The Sunreef 80’s flybridge is all about luxury — spacious seating, wet bars, and adjustable tables for alfresco dining. Add a four-person hot tub, and it’s next level. After a day on the water, soaking in warm bubbles as you cruise to your next anchorage is the ultimate way to unwind.

  • The forward cockpit. This one is littler bit different than what you find on a sailing catamaran, with the large sun pads where the trampolines would be. Just behind the sun pads is the cockpit area complete with a removable sun shade. I love this area while underway where I can go back and forth between laying on the sunpads or stay seated in the cockpit while enjoying snacks and drinks.

BLESSED is available for charter in the Virgin Islands. To see BLESSED’s full e-brochure, click here.
