The Bahamas is made up of almost 700 islands and cays, with only 30 of them inhabited. This is the ultimate destination for getting away, featuring endless pink sand beaches, hidden sandbars, and miles upon miles of crystal clear turquoise blue waters. The most common sailing itinerary is The Exumas; a 120-mile-long island chain. Guests can either start and finish in Nassau, or if you prefer more secluded spots, starting out of Staniel Cay or Georgetown, are two other options that are farther down the Exuma chain.
This sailing destination is a paradise for watersport enthusiasts, offering everything from kite surfing and e-foiling to bone fishing, snorkeling, and diving. With plenty of pristine pink and white sand beaches to explore, there’s no shortage of places to unwind. Beyond the incredible watersport opportunities, the region is also renowned for its delicious spiny tail lobster and conch—some of the freshest and tastiest you’ll ever enjoy.
