Our 2025 Spring Break Crewed Catamaran Picks

October 5, 2024

Spring Break is a wonderful time when families and friends can hit the pause button on the Winter wonderland they’ve been enduring and charter a crewed sailing catamaran in the gorgeous Caribbean. Some of the best and most sought-after charter destinations are the US Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, St.Martin, Antigua, St.Barths, the Grenadines, and the Bahamas.

Check out these gorgeous crewed catamarans sailing in various locations throughout the Caribbean. These catamarans have the ability to entertain anywhere from 2 guests to 10 guests.

Justified Horizons

Justified Horizons is a 2021 Lagoon Sixty 5, which can accommodate up to ten guests in five ensuite cabins, making it a fantastic option for a large family. This catamaran is accompanied by 3 crew members, which ensures that everyone onboard feels like they’re a VIP. Not only is this a great option for a large family, but it’s also the perfect layout for a group of friends. Each cabin is relatively equal in size, so there’s no arguing over who gets the better room. Each cabin features a queen sized walk around bed, with plush linens and plenty of hanging storage for your belongings.

Most catamarans have one, maybe two dining spaces for guests’ use, but Justified Horizon’s unique layout provides guests with three options to enjoy their 5-star meals. The flybridge, aft cockpit, and the salon can all be used for meal service, our favorite, is of course the flybridge where you get the stunning 360 degree views.

Besides the dining spaces, there are plenty of lounging areas too. One of the best seats in the house is the forward, sunken, cockpit. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy while sailing, enjoying that first cup of coffee, reading a book, or catching a few z’s while transiting in between the islands. Justified Horizons is fully stocked with the coolest water toys (e-Foils, subwings, sea bobs, SUPs, kayak, etc) and a powerful 60HP dinghy to pull guests behind and quickly get guests ashore. This catamaran is also set up for diving, with 10 sets of tanks, weights, BC’s, and regulators. To see Justified Horizon’s full e-brochure, click here.

Allure

Allure is a 2020 Privilege Series 6, with three ensuite cabins, that can accommodate up to six guests. There is a massive owner’s suite, featuring a walk around King size bed, a separate desk/study area to tackle those emails (Starlink is onboard), hanging closets and storage all around, and a large vanity with dual basin sinks. The owner’s cabin truly is the definition of luxury.

The other two VIP cabins feature walk around queen sized beds, with one having the ability to split into twins (a great option for teens or young adults sharing a cabin) a separated shower and toilet, high thread count linens and plush bathrobes, and plenty of storage for your belongings.

There are multiple lounging areas for guests to enjoy when they aren’t relaxing in their cabin. One of the most unique spots on Allure is the beach club/swim platform. The beach club setup creates a space for guests to enter/exit the water easily, as well as provide a comfortable place to sit and relax in the shade, while watching loved ones enjoy the water. Allure has an enclosed flybridge with a comfortable U-shaped settee and small table in the middle. The cockpit is another great protected area for guests to lounge in, as well as enjoy alfresco dining. And for the sun worshipers in the group, the bow has two large trampolines and two sunpads on the foredeck, which offer some of the best views while underway.

Allure is perfectly set up for diving with scuba tanks, an air compressor and the hydraulic swim platform to easily access the water. On top of the diving equipment, there’s e-Foils, subwings, SUP’s, noodles, tubes and beach games to keep the group occupied.

Mahasattva

This Lagoon 620 is a galley down version, which lets guests utilize the entire salon, whether it’s to enjoy a meal, or do a film night with the large pop up TV. It’s also another nice spot to enjoy the cool A/C and read a book or take a nap while underway. The salon leads out to the cockpit, which is where most of the guests’ meals can be enjoyed alfresco style. The flybridge on Mahasattva is another great area to use for alfresco dining (canapés in the evening, cappuccinos in the morning, and siestas while the Captain navigates to the next anchorage. The flybridge is often the most popular lounging area, as guests can enjoy 360 degree views, grab an informal sailing lesson from the captain, and sunbath on the large sunpad just forward of the mast.

When guests are looking for a little more action, the trampolines and sun lounging pads on the bow offer a fantastic view of the Caribbean islands you’re sailing around. It’s easy to stay cool on the trampolines with the ocasssional sea spray splashing up through the netting. When guests are ready to fully immerse themselves in the water, Mahasattva comes with a 70HP dinghy ready to pull you on all the water toys. From a wakeboard, to e-Foil, to SUPs, to kayaks, subwings, diving gear, a floating dock, and lots of noodles to keep you afloat, the crew on Mahasattva is ready to show you a good time.
