Best Summertime Crewed Catamaran Charters

July 3, 2024

Every summer it feels more challenging to find that escape from the heat. We hear the words: heat dome, heat index, heat wave, wild fires, drought. So where do we go? How about anywhere that involves being on a crewed catamaran, enjoying the refreshing water with your family and loved ones? There are so many fantastic summertime charter options: from Martha’s Vineyard, to the Exumas, to the Virgin Islands, and down to the Grenadines, booking a crewed yacht charter is super simple.

Check out these gorgeous catamarans sailing in various locations in North America this Summer.

Le Reve:

Le Reve is offering New England charters through the end of September 2024.

S/Y Le Reve is a 2017 Lagoon 620 Essence with three ensuite queen cabins for up to six guests. The primary’s suite is a beautiful layout, with plush carpeting to rejuvenate weary feet from the salt and sand, a walk-around bed with high-end linens, multiple hanging closets to keep your belongings organized, a desk to keep in touch with email, a relaxing sitting area, a separate toilet and shower, dual basin sinks, and private access to the cockpit. The other two VIP ensuites are mirror images of each other; both with a massive queen size bed.

Le Reve is a galley down version, giving guests access to the entire salon, perfect for movie nights on the couch, or wine tastings with Chef Sandy. Le Reve is known for featuring high end wines, something that Captain Kirk and Chef Sandy take pride in. Le Reve is all about luxury and giving guests an experience unlike other charters.

Guests have access to the forward cockpit and trampolines to enjoy the sunshine and sea spray, the cockpit for alfresco dining, and the flybridge to take advantage of the 360 degree views. Le Reve has a plethora of watertoys (efoil, kite surfing, wing foil, diving, SUPs, snorkeling, etc ). To make access into the water super easy, there’s a hydraulic swim platform that can be raised and lowered into the water for guests. It’s also a great spot to set up as a beach club. If you’ve already chartered in the Caribbean and have yet to see what the obsession is about summering in New England, Le Reve is your opportunity. To see Le Reve’s full e-brochure, click here.

Mira Sol:

Mira Sol is waiving the $1,500 relocation fee for charters in the Abacos, Bahamas, that take place by the end of August 31, 2024.

S/Y Mira Sol is a 2014 Lagoon 560, with three ensuite cabins, that can accommodate up to six guests. There is a primary’s suite, featuring a walk around bed, a desk area, lots of hanging closet storage and even a private access point between the cockpit and the cabin. The other two VIP cabins feature walk around queen sized beds, spacious bathrooms, and plenty of storage for your belongings.

When guests aren’t relaxing in their cabin, they’ll most likely find themselves on the flybridge, featuring a hard top bimini, which protects the spacious sitting area from the elements. The flybridge is the perfect location for guests to enjoy that first morning cup of coffee or finish the day with sundowners while taking in unobstructed 360 degree views. Guests also have the sunken forward cockpit to relax in while underway, two massive trampolines to sprawl out on, as well as the bow seats on either side (perfect for dolphin watching). Guests can enjoy alfresco dining in the cockpit for the majority of their meals. When it’s time to enjoy the beautiful blue waters, there’s a hydraulic tender lift which can be raised and lowered into the ocean, giving guests an easy entry and exit point for their water activities.

Mira Sol is spending the remaining charter season in the Bahamas and with many non stop flights from the US into Nassau, Mira Sol is an easy option this Summer. To view Mira Sol’s full e-brochure, click here.
