Ownership & HistoryThis Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 has had a carefully documented and responsible ownership history.
She was originally purchased new in the United Kingdom by her first owner, who retained the yacht for approximately six months. She was then sold to a second private owner, who kept the vessel for around 18 months. In 2019, the yacht entered a joint ownership structure and has since been maintained and enjoyed by her current owners.
Up to 2019, the yacht sailed primarily in UK waters before transitioning to more extensive cruising.
In 2023, Wanderlust successfully completed an Atlantic crossing, after which she spent approximately one year in the Caribbean, including a six-month period ashore in Grenada for maintenance and care.
In May 2025, the yacht was professionally shipped to Palma de Mallorca and subsequently sailed to mainland Spain, where she is currently based in Barcelona.
The vessel was originally purchased in the UK with VAT paid there. She departed UK waters in June 2023 (post-Brexit) and is now in Europe under Temporary Admission status, meaning EU VAT has not been paid.
The owners are now offering the yacht for sale due to a change in personal circumstances, as one of the partners already owns another vessel in the UK, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
