2020 Seawind 1190 Sport – Hummingbird Wings took flight direct from the Seawind factory.  The owner single handed - sailed her from Vietnam to East Coast USA North Carolina.  Hummingbird Wings ailed the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Mediterranean before making way across the Atlantic to her homeport.  Hummingbird Wings is well optioned, two-year-old Seawind 1190 Sport is in immaculate condition. The first second hand 1190 sport to come onto the East Coast USA market, she is a fast competitive boat which has been set up for comfortable cruising.  A three cabin owners version layout with a fully open galley, she is open, spacious with plenty of ventilation. 

Seller ‘s description:  Hummingbird Wings was conceived to as the capable optimum platform to realize my lifetime dream, as an experienced and avid offshore sailor, of navigating the globe. This enabled the adventure of a lifetime. To this end she was equipped and commissioned at the factory in Vietnam for the successful passages to her North Carolina home port. Considering the purpose/goals in mind, she was equipped with the very best of offshore systems, including the Hydrovane windvane/backup steering systems, offshore lifeboat, Watermaker, etc.

Although wired for an inverter, shore power and air conditioning were not opted for, given the intended itinerary. Coastal cruising appointments, easily later added, were considered for the future. 

Hummingbird Wing proved herself to be nimble, yet incredibly stable, and above all, rugged. Nothing, in my considerable sailing experience, compares (before or since) to how well she sailed single handed to windward 500+ miles up the Red Sea. Beyond all expectation, she amazed and outperformed (judged by the usual sailing metrics) most boats on similar routes, earning the respect of her international cruiser audience.

 It will be sad to part with her but also a joy to see her in the care of a new, devoted owner.

1. GENERAL: The overall finish of the Seawind 1190 Sport will be consistent with that of the well known and loved 1160 range with only the highest quality equipment used throughout.  The overall concept of the 1190 sport is for a competitive sports catamaran at a level of construction, workmanship, equipment, fit out and style that surpasses any other available in the market at this price range.
